One of the truly inspiring and enjoyable things about teaching art to young people is that they rarely know that they themselves are already artists. With the introduction of wonderful art supplies, a non-judgmental and encouraging atmosphere, and some instruction on the elements of art, I have seen students blossom. Every student approaches the same assignment and subject in their own unique way producing artwork that is different from their fellow students. As an art teacher that is one of my favorite moments to observe.

Through my career, I have had the privilege of teaching countless art classes with anywhere from one to twenty or more students on subjects like studio art, pinhole camera, darkroom photography, and art appreciation. I even taught a water color club.

I am available to teach art lessons individually and in a group setting. Do you need or want an art class for your educational co-op?
